The Recess Hotel & Club brand is set to arrive in Phoenix in 2027 where LEFT LANE will deliver a 7-acre adaptive reuse and expansion of the Phoenix Financial Center—aka The Punchcard Building. The mid-century architectural icon was designed by Oscar Niemeyer protégé Wenceslaus Sarmiento and completed in 1964.
Upon completion, Recess Phoenix will be a high-design mixed use urban resort development with 209 guest rooms and suites, 143 residential units, and more than 33,000 sq ft of indoor and outdoor events space, including a beach club. Residents, members, and guests will enjoy access to four restaurant and bar offerings, a grocery and sundries shop, and LEFT LANE’s wellness hub Saltgrass—a 7,400 sq ft holistic spa facility with a garden, infrared saunas, cryotherapy, and biohacking lounges. Additional amenity spaces will include a co-work lounge, kids club and Rumpus Room with table games and a screening room.
Following in the footsteps of its sister property in Savannah, Recess Phoenix will bring together experience-seekers and occasion-celebrators who crave elevated design, of-the-moment offerings, and a healthy dose of adventure.
