LEFT LANE will transform Savannah’s Manger Building, located at 7 E. Congress Street, into the flagship property for its newest brand, Recess Hotel & Club. Set to debut in early 2026, Recess will be a new kind of lifestyle hotel and clubhouse—a coveted 221-room hideaway for members, locals and guests, complete with co-working spaces, a rooftop pool and bar, circuit-based spa and fitness facility, two-story event space, classic French brasserie and more.

Interiors will follow a “retro futurist” narrative including tactile elements like natural wood, marble and tile. With 136 guest rooms, 23 suites and 62 bunk rooms, the property will feature a “Rumpus Room” on each guest floor—a communal space for socialization with lounge seating, large flat-screen televisions and custom vending machines—exclusive to Recess guests.
